TJ & Missy Thorn (Worship Ministry)

TJ is a native of Georgetown and has been married to his wife Missy for more than 32 years.  They have three children and one grandchild.  TJ has a Bachelor's Degree from Eastern Kentucky University and an Associate's Degree from Bluegrass Community and Technical College.  

TJ and Missy have been active in the music ministry at Trinity for more than 30 years, with TJ playing drums and Missy singing in the choir. In April 2011, the Lord called TJ into a leadership position as Worship Pastor for Trinity.  TJ considers this opportunity a great honor and a privilege to lead his church family and God’s people in worship.  His desire is to honor the Lord in musical excellence and to facilitate an environment where people experience God’s presence in a powerful and life-changing way.

TJ enjoys spending time with his family, reading books and watching movies.  When he is not leading worship, he is an active musician and educator who enjoys teaching aspiring drummers, young and old.
